Gundam Assemble Guide

Roadmap, Print Corrections and Promos

Quick answer

Bandai's product list runs from Starter Set 01 in October 2026 to Deluxe Set 03 and Expansion Pack 09 in March 2027. Two card text misprints, in EX01 and ST01, have published corrections, and parallel unit cards for Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank are being distributed through events.

Gundam Assemble's release schedule runs from October 2026 to March 2027, with two official card corrections already published and a promo card distribution running through events.

Official card corrections

The rules and FAQ page lists two card text corrections, both published 2 November 2026:

| Notice | Set | Language |

| Apology and Correction for Card Text Misprint | EX01 | Japanese |

Apology and Correction for Card Text MisprintST01Japanese

Both notices are published in Japanese. If you are playing an English set, compare your card against the English card list on the data page rather than against the notice itself. If your card text does not match the list, that is a misprint and the correction notice tells you which version is correct.

Parallel unit card distribution

Bandai has confirmed distribution of parallel unit cards for three classic Federation units: Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank. The announcement appears twice on the official news feed - once under campaigns (1 October 2026) and once under events (12 September 2026).

These are alternate-art or promo versions of cards that already exist in the Paint Pack line-up. They carry their own card numbers, which matters for the duplicate rule: a promo Gundam and the Paint Pack Gundam are different cards and can be fielded together.

Organised play

The official site runs an organised play section with tracks for players, judges and stores, plus a distributor list. The authorised judge programme is the structure to watch if you want to run events - it is the only official channel for store-level play at the moment.

Nothing in the launch window suggests a competitive season with a published rules pack; organised play is being built store by store.

Worth watching

The two things worth watching:

  • Scenario Pack 01 (February 2027, $55) is the first product that adds scenarios rather than models. For a game whose variety comes from scenario design, that is the most interesting release in the schedule.
  • Deluxe Sets 02 and 03 (December 2026 and March 2027, $170 each) expand the 5v5 format. Two deluxe sets in five months is a fast cadence for the most expensive SKU.

Still unannounced

No competitive season, no points system, no digital companion app and no confirmed second language wave beyond the four site languages. If any of those appear, the official news feed is where it lands first.

For what is in each box today, see starter vs deluxe and prices.

Using the corrections at the table

Both notices are "apology and correction" posts, which is Bandai's standard format for a printing error that changes how a card plays. The pattern to watch for is a card whose text differs between printings, because a mixed pool of first and second printings will have two versions of the same card in circulation.

Practical handling: check the card against the official card list image. If the wording matches the list, you have the corrected text. If it does not, the correction notice is the errata and the listed wording is what you play.

Where new information appears

Three places, in order of how early they publish:

  • The news feed on the official site, which carries campaign, event and product announcements. The parallel card distribution was announced there under two categories on two dates.
  • The product pages, which get edited in place when a release month changes. Deluxe Set 01's move was recorded as a dated note on the product page rather than as a news item.
  • The rules and FAQ page, which collects corrections and judge programme updates.

None of these have an RSS feed, which is why this page exists as a summary rather than a link list.
